Research is an important part of understanding the world that surrounds us.  Research can occur on many levels and is not restricted to the academics, governments or even forestry and wildlife consultants. Research can also occur any time there is a question that needs to be answered.  Through this approach we, as managers, can use adaptive management and continually improve our methods of promoting ecological health.  On its most elemental level our research efforts focus on ensuring the long-term stability of wildlife populations and biodiversity.

Northern Stewards has experience conducting research on wildlife habitats, wildlife-habitat relationships, ecological features, and taxa such as amphibians, reptiles, and small mammals including bats.  Our research employs the use of state of the art equipment, current knowledge, and ethical philosophies on the approach to research.

Northern Stewards is outfitted for a variety of projects on the private, state, or federal level.  Please contact us for questions, proposals, or discussions regarding wildlife research.
